Grumman OV-1B Mohawk
An American recon aircraft OV-1B Mohawk is a 1:48 scale Roden plastic kit, built for our customer with a requirment of heavy intensity scratching. It was imitated with a “salt” technique.
The figurines are a mixture of Verlinden, Eduard and ICM pilots and ground crew. Base is scratchbuilt with a thick paper sheets, imitating airbase concrete slabs, and painted with two Gray colors. Weathered with MIG Gray and Mud pigments and oil drops on concrete.
Model was built in cooperation with Vadim Kostyilev.

Не понравилось реалицация ободранности. Много очагов облезания краски примерно одного размера, но разбросанного по всему корпусу. Выглядит как мышами погрызенный, ну или будто красили с пузырями.
