A famous Russian ZVEZDA factory made an outstanding effort to produce a highest quality 1/48 scale aircraft almost two years ago, with their La-5 Soviet Interceptor, and this was a real success. Now we are glad to present another masterpiece – Messerschmitt-109F2 – from ZVEZDA. Even a first glance comparision with its analogs from Tamiya, ICM, Academy, Airfix, Hasegava and Unimodel shows that this exact kit won the first prize due to in deepest detalization and fine accuracy. With the price below €10 its the most inexpensive one. Another good reason – is an archive design papers from Messerschmitt, captured by Red Army in 1945 and now available for ZVEZDA factory.

Instruction sheets are simple and unsophisticated.

The moulding quality is very well done with clean crisp mouldings. No pin marks evident on the parts and just the usual moulding seams to be removed. Detalization is great – 54 details only for an engine and another 27 – for a cockpit. An open engine jacket is available. A nice pilot figure included.

Decal sheet is for 4 variants,  without any shifts.

In conclusion: Highly Recommended as for beginners so for professional modelers.
