While some of us are wait then at last AFV Club would release their own Bofors in 1:35 scale, The Bronco Models produced their wonderful model. The kit consisting 291 parts in beige plastic, 18 small wing nuts in light grey plastic, 1 metal spring, 81 etched parts, a decal and instruction sheets.

A real production date of this two quite similar models are lost in early Seventies. Despite of complete outdateness, the sprues have a really good quality, with no shifts and pin marks. These are simple models, inadequate for a demandful modeller, but they syill have no alternative, only Dragon provides an old SU-85M model, which depicts another version of this tank destroyer.

In the end of 2009 Tamiya announced a new model kit, which is really 1966 repack with only one new item – ‘Tamiya weathering master’ kit for Russian tanks. The model itself is heavily antiquarianoutdated and suffers from numerous simplifications. Recommended for little children and  antiquarians.

In this review of MIG Dodge WC51 our friend from Novosibirsk Vadim Kostiylev describes features and errors of this resin kit, emphasising on good overall quality, detalisation and accuracy, but noticing  a big trouble with wheels,  there only  thick layer of mud can help to cover it. Also a big minus is a lack of decal sheet. See photos for details:

This tiny PE kit is needful to Tamiya model for its obvious simplicity. Pedals, wipers, mirror and staff banner can be found only here. Radiator screen is most important item. As a bonus – metal plate wiyh model name, which can be attachede to a vignette.
