FAMO 10t Drehkran

The biggest model that ever came off our stocks – is at the same time the most difficult one. We made it in our reliable team of Pavel & Vladimir, first one constructed, second painted.

Only a pair of archive photos concerning this monster are available. Crane is a resin kit from Wespe Models, these Romanian manufacturers made it almost impossible to construct. We used at least ten gallons of epoxy putty. On the contrary, Tamiya FAMO truck was built easily.  Some parts were scratch-built. Painting as usually, using whole range of model chemistry.

Wespe models 35069 – resin conversion kit

Tamiya 35239 – FAMO

Tamiya 35186 – jerrycans

Tamiya 35204 – ammunition

Ethicon – black surgery suture.

    Desde luego da la sensación de que realmente es una grua operativa, vamos que no parece a 1/35, muy bien logrados desconchones y color oxidos al igual que todo el conjunto de rodaje, con sus manchas de grasas yu sus diferentes tonalidades.
